Welcome to the new blog about the hilarious adventures and experiences of Maxine. This web comic series was created by artist John Wagner in 1986 for the Shoebox Greetings branch of Hallmark. His own family members’ strong personalities act as an inspiration to him. He created comics about a smart and humorous senior citizen, Maxine, who has a nonsense attitude. She is the old lady who finds herself doing silly things at an older age.
Maxine’s Daily Life
He started the web comic series under the title Maxine’s Place Comics. As the name suggests, this comic strip is totally based on the hilarious observations and experiences of an old lady. In his comics, Maxine is mostly seen as the main character. Every time he shows Maxine, she is doing hilarious things. This is the main character, which makes this web comic very famous all over the world.
