Ever wonder how someone would react if you were to meet them in real life? Maybe you’ve been on a date, and you suddenly think to yourself, “I want to see her reaction or how she would react if I did this or that.” You’re going to want to illustrate a situation through characters who so happen to look like that situation.

The most important thing to remember is that these comics are intended to be funny and silly. Don’t be afraid to be irreverent, but don’t be too silly. Don’t make the mistake of running for the hills because everyone’s a comedian! The best way to learn how to create comics is to practice on strips of paper and a simple notebook, so you can see what works and what doesn’t. The point of the comics is to get your audience to laugh, and the best way to do that is to make them think.
