These couple comics are about the hardest question in any relationship. Not “do you love me?” Not “where is this going?” No. It’s “what do you want to eat?”
One says “I don’t mind.” The other suggests five places. All five are wrong. An hour later, you’re both hangry and eating cereal. Scroll for all 10.
1. Anything is fine

A couple on the couch. One asks: “What do you want to eat?” The other smiles: “Anything is fine.” A thought bubble shows a long list of rejected foods.
“Anything” has a very specific list of exceptions.
2. The veto round

One partner lists pizza, burgers, sushi and tacos. The other holds up a “NO” sign for each one.
We’re not choosing dinner. We’re playing elimination.
3. Scrolling the delivery app

Both sit side by side scrolling a food app for 45 minutes. A clock in the background spins fast. Their stomachs growl.
We have looked at every restaurant in the city. Twice.
4. The hangry stage

Partner one slowly turns into a grumpy monster with tiny horns as time passes. A label says: “Hangry Level 100.”
Please feed me before I become a different person.
5. I’m not hungry

One partner says “I’m not hungry” and orders only a salad. When the food arrives, they eat half of the other’s fries.
“Not hungry” means “I will eat your food.”
6. Let’s just cook

They decide to cook at home. The fridge has: one egg, a lemon and a jar of pickles. They stare.
Chef’s special tonight: confusion.
7. The coin toss

One partner flips a coin: heads pizza, tails burgers. It lands on burgers. The other says: “Best two out of three.”
The coin is a suggestion, not a rule.
8. The usual place

After an hour of debate, they go to the same restaurant they always go to. The waiter already knows their order.
We spent an hour deciding to do what we always do.
9. The menu marathon

At a restaurant, one partner reads the menu like a novel. The waiter has grown a beard while waiting.
Take your time. The waiter has nowhere else to be. Ever.
10. Next night

The next evening, the other partner asks: “What do you want to eat?” Both look at each other and scream.
And so it begins again. Every. Single. Night.

How can couples decide dinner faster?
