1. Acceptance of these terms

Welcome to Comics Hut. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of comicshut.com and any related services, features and content (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

Some features, such as posting, commenting and Premium membership, require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Please let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Content you submit

You keep ownership of the comics, stories, images and other content you submit to Comics Hut (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Comics Hut a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt (for example, resize or format), distribute and promote that content on the Service and on our social media channels, with credit to you where practical.

You confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to everything you submit, and that your User Content does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break any law. Our editors may review, edit for formatting, decline or remove any submission at their discretion.

5. Community rules

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not post or share:

• Hateful, harassing, threatening or bullying content
• Sexual, graphic or violent content
• Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights
• Spam, scams, malware or misleading links
• Other people’s personal information without their consent

You also agree not to interfere with the Service, attempt to access it by unauthorised means, or use bots or scrapers without our permission.

6. Copyright complaints

We respect the rights of creators. If you believe content on Comics Hut infringes your copyright, please email contact@comicshut.com with a link to the content, proof of ownership and your contact details. We will review the request and remove infringing content where appropriate. Accounts that repeatedly infringe others’ rights may be suspended or terminated.

7. Premium membership & payments

Comics Hut Premium is an optional paid membership offering benefits such as ad-free browsing. Current plans and prices are shown on our Join Premium page.

• Billing: Payments are processed securely by PayPal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• Cancellation: You can cancel at any time from your PayPal account. Your Premium benefits continue until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us.
• Changes: We may change Premium features or prices. Price changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for, and we will give notice before they apply to you.

8. Writer program

Writers accepted into our paid writer program are also subject to the program terms described on our Jobs on Comics Hut page and any separate agreement with us. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the program terms apply to the program.

9. Advertising & third-party links

The Service may display advertising and contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, products, services or privacy practices of third parties, and your dealings with them are solely between you and them.

10. Our content & trademarks

Apart from User Content, the Service and its design, logos, text, graphics and software are owned by or licensed to Comics Hut and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may share links to our content, but you may not copy, republish or sell our content without our written permission.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or remove your content, if you break these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or if we need to do so to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Comics Hut makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. Content on the Service is for entertainment purposes only.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Comics Hut and its owners, staff and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we may provide additional notice. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
