By the BODMAS rule (Brackets, Orders, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction) our answer to this puzzle is 15. In the last equation you need to multiply first and then add the other numbers. Looking at the previous equations, we can figure out that one drink is 10, one burger is 5, and one fries is 1. In the last line we multiply fries (1) and drink (10) first, giving 10. Next we add the burger (5) and now we have 15. The reason why this puzzle is so tricky is that many people always add the numbers they can easily add and simply forget the math rules, and hence we will get different answers.

The answer is R. The 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 positions of the numbers shown line up like figuring out how to thread gears in a manual transmission type system.
