Dan Piraro is a cartoonist and illustrator known for his humorous single-panel comics with absurd situations. In 2010, Piraro found himself a bit nervous when editor and writer Walter Benjamin decided to expand the stories from one-panel to two-panel strips. Piraro’s 1-2-3-4-5 story approach was hardly ideal for two-panel strips, and so Piraro decided to create something new.
