Welcome to another blog. I am an elderly woman and I wish to tell you something with my heart that I have come to tell you here in Comics Hut. People tend to believe that as soon as a woman grows old so do her emotions. However, that is not the case. My hands might tremble, my legs might be slow, and my face might have numerous wrinkles, and my heart is still young. Still in my heart I have love. It is not all over. It is still a desire to smile and be comprehended. Old age has altered my body, but not my emotions.
Never Grows Old
The old lady continue to feel joy when people talk to me with goodwill. I am still hurt when people forget me. I even feel warm when somebody sits close to me and listens. A woman of the old age has a lot of memories in her heart. There are those memories that are sweet and those that are painful. I recall the people that I cared about, the days when I worked hard, the days when I was laughing and the days when I cried within myself. These are memories that I carry within. They are a deep and full deepening of my heart. These lessons did not come in a day. They arrived gradually, by years of habitation.
An old woman may be looked at sometimes and all that is seen is age. They notice gray hair and worn out eyes. But they are not always aware of the young girl who, nonetheless, remains within her. They fail to see the dreams that she used to have. They are blind to the love that she desires to give. Each old woman possesses a complete world within her. Life has taught me a lot in my heart. It has been taught patience. It has been taught forgiveness. This has come to know that pride is not as important as love. It has also come to know that even the tiniest act of kindness can mend a sad day.

And there are days that my heart is lonely. The house is silent. This makes the people that I love busy. There are faces that I miss, which are no longer here. Even a message, smile or even a kind word, on such days, will be sunshine. It takes little to please old hearts. All they demand is to be remembered. But not all of sadness fills my heart. It is joyful as well. I do like simple things. I enjoy laughter. I enjoy warm tea. I like to make kids smile. I love nice people. I like small things that make life mellow. It is these little delights that keep my heart alive.
